Burns Night at The Bistro @ Bridges Thursday, 25 January 2018 7:00

On Thursday 25th January Bridges Centre will be celebrating Burns Night in style!

The bistro at Bridges will be continuing its foody themed nights by providing a three course meal for £17.50 per person.

The centrepiece will of course be the iconic haggis or, as the great Robbie Burns himself described it, “the great chieftain o’ the puddin’ race,” served with its traditional accompaniments of “neeps and tatties”.

With your meal you will receive a tot of the finest Scotch whisky to toast the spirit of the bard.

Music and songs will be flowing as you join in the celebrations throughout the night.

Regulated 12 hour Paediatric First Aid qualification suitable for registered childminders, nursery staff and primary school teachers.

Join our practical regulated Paediatric First Aid course to gain the skills and confidence to manage a first aid emergency concerning a child. Our course meets the requirements of CSSIW and OFSTED for early years practitioners and so is the right course for registered childminders, early years and primary staff. As a regulated qualification, this course is also suitable for settings working towards Millie’s Mark accreditation.

Over the 2 days, you’ll learn how to manage an unconscious child or baby who is breathing or has stopped breathing, how to treat bleeding and shock, choking, seizures, medical conditions including asthma and anaphylaxis and injuries including fractures and soft tissue injuries.

We’ll also cover the legal aspects of first aid in the workplace.
