LOCAL CARE VILLAGE WINS NATIONAL DEMENTIA CARE EXCELLENCE AWARD

Award winning Manager Stephane Beaumont of Gibraltar Care Village in Monmouth, has done it again! He was awarded the National Dementia Care Excellence prize at a glittering ceremony attended by over 500 people at the Civic Hall in Cardiff last week.

Assembly Member Gwenda Thomas, Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services presented Stephane with the prestigious award. He beat off stiff competition from over 100 nominees and was highly praised by the team of independent expert judges.

Stephane has already received a number of awards in recognition of his outstanding contribution and innovative approach to elderly care.

The Gibraltar Care Village is a pioneering £10m new development that provides independent living, in luxury cottages and apartments as well as a state of the art nursing home. The complex has a five star hotel resort feel and includes a wellness spa, cinema, restaurant as well as hair and beauty salons. It provides both nursing and residential care specialising in helping those with dementia.
