Robin's Barn is in the depths of the countryside, however it is just 2.5 hours from London, and within one hour of Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham and Hereford.

Overlooking the Wye Valley, it is in a tiny hamlet at the end of a lane, reached by a private driveway (OS 162 grid ref 528 075). The nearest village, Penallt, which has a pub and a historic 13th Century church, is less than 1 mile away.

You can walk from the front door of Robin's Barn straight into reputedly the oldest deciduous wood in Wales. It is resplendent with bluebells in the Spring and the Autumn colours are magnificent. It was from here that the wood was taken to make the arrows for the Battle of Agincourt in the fifteenth Century.
