The Kitchen Place is a design studio which supplies a wide range of high quality kitchen furniture and appliances.
We offer a complete design and installation service; we produce truly individual designs, remove your existing units, co-ordinate all flooring, electrical and plumbing modifications prior to installing your new kitchen.
At our Monmouth showroom you will find a large selection of high quality kitchens, Aga cookers and accessories, built-in ovens and induction hobs along with granite and Corian worktops, Franke sinks, Perrin and Rowe taps, kitchen lighting.
In addition, to help you make the perfect choices for your kitchen, we offer expert advice gained from many years of experience.
Simann Painted Kitchen
Painted kitchen in buttermilk cream on ash timber doors with brass hinges.
The solid wood drawers have dovetail joints throughout and are fitted with the Blum soft-close drawer system and cast iron effect drawer handles.
The worktop is 30mm granite with 70mm upstand and drainer grooves alongside the Iroko Wood supported Belfast sink fitted with a Franke mixer tap.
The 13 amp low maintenance Aga 2 oven has a canopy with storage, lights and extractor fan.
Glass wall cupboard has interior lighting.
Traditional Kitchen
Character Oak kitchen inframe door design with porcelain door and drawer handles
Cupboards with adjustable shelving, easy clean interiors and magnetic catches. The corner unit has practical corners system with 4 basket shelves and one with double waste bin
Each of the solid wood drawers have a soft close system, there is one large pan drawer

Contemporary Kitchen
Maple and walnut shaker style doors except for the push & rotate 360° corner base storage system
The small drawer unit has walnut drawer fronts, the under-worktop ones maple, the spice drawers a mixture of both, the large pan drawer has interior shelves, all have the Blum easy close system
The Corian sink worktop has a 50mm upstand and a Franke hand spray mixer tap, it also incorporates stainless steel heat protection rods and a large corner chopping board. An extension to one corner serves as a breakfast bar
The glass wall cupboards have interior lighting and low voltage tungsten halogen lighting in triangular fitting underneath

How we create the perfect kitchen
Consultation
The design process starts with a consultation to discuss your lifestyle, how you live and entertain as well as the style and character of your home. You may consider making a "wish list", which will help you focus on the important features of your new kitchen.
Survey
A survey will be carried out to measure your room so that an accurate design plan can be created, including any special features.
Design
The design process is driven by a combination of flair and experience. The use of the latest computer-aided software enables you to appreciate the various practical solutions for your new kitchen.
Quotation
We offer a wide selection of kitchen styles to meet all budgets. Our quotation will provide a clear indication of the full cost of your new kitchen including a comparison between different manufacturers and a selection of worktops.
Order
A check survey is carried out by the kitchen fitter, when an order has been placed. A written quotation is given for the installation including all electrical and plumbing work.
Installation
A date is agreed to remove your existing kitchen units and arrange delivery of the new equipment. Your kitchen will be installed to the highest standard, which will include tiling and lighting.
Aga Cookers
We supply the full range of Aga cookers which are available to operate on oil, gas or electricity. There is a wide range of colours from which to choose, and come with two, three or four ovens.
The two oven and three oven models are 987mm wide and the 4 oven model is 1487mm wide. Some Aga cookers are able to provide hot water to your domestic hot water system.
The new low maintenance 13 amp electric two oven Aga is on display in our showroom as well as the Aga Six :: Four Series oven with either a six plate ceramic top or a four gas burner and griddle hob. The Six :: Four model has an electric fan oven, a conventional oven and a simmering oven with self-cleaning linings. There is an electric ceramic grille and automatic controls for the cooking.
Aga Accessories
Aga offer a wide range of practical and attractive accessories to make your Aga cooking even more enjoyable. There are a wide range of pots, pans and roasting trays in stainless steel or hard anodised.
The use of Bak-O-Glide while cooking helps to prevent food sticking to the tins when you are baking or roasting and is easily cleaned after use by putting into your dishwasher.
Aga gloves, gauntlets and aprons are practical and attractive, while the wide range of pots, pans and saucepans provide the perfect equipment for your Aga kitchen.
