Opened on 15 September 2007, Mono is owned by (brother and sister) business partners Brian Ramsey and Gilly Sparks.

With opening collections for Autumn/Winter 2007/2008 from Avoca, Marilyn Moore and CCDK, and a small capsule of Eden Park menswear, Mono aims to bring beautiful clothes to the heart of Monmouth old town.

With additional collections for Spring/Summer 2008 from Oui Moments and Eden Park ladieswear, Brian and Gilly anticipate that Mono will complement the existing shops and boutiques in Monmouth that now make this beautiful market town a "retail destination" for discerning shoppers.
