The Punch House is located in Monmouth and is one of the most popular bars to the locals and the visitors. The Punch House has 11 rooms and a restaurant. The Punch House is situated right in the centre of Monmouth on Agincourt Square and opposite the famous Georgian Shire Hall. All the historic sights and buildings of the town are easily accessed on foot from the Punch House which also provides an excellent base for touring the nearby Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons. The Punch House offers 11 rooms all of which have been refurbished to a very high standard, including a family room and the ever-popular four-poster! The rates are always competitive and special offers are often available - and you may even see our friendly and tranquil ghost - Charles - who allegedly stalks the corridors after the sun has gone down and night is upon us. The Old Brewery was opened for the first time in the Heart of Cardiff in 1713, and in 1882 and purchased by Samuel Arthur Brain and his uncle Joseph Benjamin Brain. Since being in the Control of the Brain family S.A. Brain & Co. Ltd has grown into the largest independent brewery in Wales. S.A. Brain brews its own brand of beer and provides it in there own retail estate in South Wales. |
