AM WALKS FOR LIFE

NATIONAL Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, was happy to lend his support to charity Kidney Wales during last weekend's Raglan Walk for Life event.

The Walk for Life is an important event for Kidney Wales, during which communities, towns and villages come together in one big day of fundraising.

All the money raised at the various Walks for Life is invested into patient care.

Speaking after the walk, Nick said: "I was delighted to take part in my local walk for Life. It was perfect weather for walking and very well-attended.

"The walk itself was very pleasant and I would recommend anyone trying out the route we took.

"The Walk for Life is a very worthwhile cause, raising much-needed funds for Kidney Wales.

"A shortage in kidney transplant donors is a big problem and I am happy to take part in an event that helps to raise the profile of this issue."
