AM TURNS UP HEAT ON BROADBAND NOT SPOTS
National Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, has raised a business question in the Assembly on behalf of residents in rural Monmouthshire who are still unable to access broadband despite their exchange being "enabled".
Speaking today local AM Nick said: "These rural broadband "not spots" are particularly frustrating for constituents who run businesses from their homes.
"Still having to rely on the old dial-up system, which is totally inadequate for today's business use, is no longer acceptable.
"I have raised the issue in the Assembly recently, and have also written to the Director of BT Wales about the problem.
"I've stressed the importance of broadband access for our rural businesses which need all the assistance they get, especially in these difficult times when many are struggling financially."
