Sports grants still available

Monmouthshire sports clubs and associations can still apply for funding of up to £1,000 from the Community Chest Grants Scheme.

There is still £15,000 available to eligible projects that get people active.

The scheme supports projects that create new or improved sport and physical activity opportunities.

Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) manages the scheme, which is a Sports Council for Wales initiative and is funded through the National Lottery grant aid scheme.

To apply, contact the MCC Sports Development department on 01633 644544 for further information or guidelines and application forms can be found at sports-council-wales.org.uk. 

Applications should be returned to Monmouthshire County Council, Sports Development Department, County Hall, Cwmbran, NP44 2XH by 15^th December.
