Local Crimes up to Tuesday 9th December 2008

On two occasions this week the Hair Salon lower end of Monnow Street has been broken into and hair products stolen. On Wednesday night entry was gained by smashing the rear glass door panel and on Sunday night a ground floor window was smashed. (Crime Ref Nos. BM/1311 + 1334/08)

Overnight Wednesday to Thursday, 3rd to 4th December, glass in the front door of Harts in Monnow Street was smashed. (Crime Ref No: BM/1316/08)

Also overnight Wednesday to Thursday, 3rd to 4th December, a shed was broken into in the Wyesham area and a chainsaw was stolen. (Crime Ref No. BM/1313/08)

At 7.30am on Sunday morning, 7th December, an Ifor Williams trailer, value £1000 was stolen from a farm on Wonastow Road, Monmouth. A Landrover was seen towing the vehicle away. (Crime Ref No. BM/1327/08)
