Items taken from churches

Please be extra vigilant to the church in your area.

There have been a number of incidents recently where theft of money and other items have been taken from churches in Monmouthshire.

The latest victims are Trellech, Penallt and Llandogo church.

Please pass the message around to interested parties and report any sightings of suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of churches to Gwent Police Call Centre, using "999" in an emergency and "101" for non-emergency.

However, in spite of the above incidents crime is still relatively low in Monmouthshire making it a safe place to live, work and visit.
