Monmouth
Police will be working with their partners during the build up to Christmas to
ensure Monmouth residents and visitors have a safe and enjoyable festive
season.Officers will conduct high
visibility patrols in the evenings within the town and residential areas to
reassure the public and to deal quickly with those intent on spoiling the
enjoyment of others.
Officers
are keen to raise the awareness of the problems associated with drinking
alcohol to excess and early intervention and interaction could prevent minor
incidents escalating.
